The Beginning

After 10 days of traveling we finally made it to Lotus- Eaters. Two of my men and a runner are out looking to see what type of  men are on this island. After a day of searching we found the cyclops, giant, lotus with a law to bless us. We came across a cave with sheep and goats in it. A man lived there alone. I told my men to stay and watch over the ship while my 12 strongest men and i went ahead. We looked around in the cave and decided to take everything. We decided to take all of the cheeses, open all of the pens, and drive the lambs and kids aboard the ship. When the cyclops returned he brought his ewes in the cave for milking and put a slab of rock over the opening to close the cave. He asked us who we were and where are we from? He wanted to know what brought us to seaways. We were afraid to answer the cyclops.When he asked me what my name was i told him it was nobody.Not answering him made the Cyclops angry, he grabbed at us. He caught 2 men and smashed their brains out and ate them.The next morning he ate two more men. We had to come up with a plan fast or he would eat us two by two until everyone is gone. We decided were going to stab the cyclops in the eye with a large stick try killing him.
  So we started sharping a large stick. I had some wine left so i asked the cyclops if he would like to try some. he liked it so much he took 3 bowls of it. When he was good and drunk we got our large stick nice and hot and my 4 strongest men stabbed him in the eye with it. they twisted it around to make the cyclops bleed. The cyclops started yelling. Cyclops told me i wouldn't get away. We had to hide from him or he would kill us all. We had to come up with another plan to get out of the cyclops cave.
